Kaitlyn + Kody // Elopement

In April I got an inquiry from a couple who started planning their wedding realized all of the “normal” things that partner with planning a wedding were not working for them. So I met them at Oddsides and after sipping on beers and talking for a while we decided an evening trip to Saugatuck after eloping in Holland was the way to do it. So on May 10th at 4:00 I met Kody, Kaitlyn, and two of their friends in Holland to witness them exchange vows before taking an adventure. The night included all of us in a car chatting about cats, music, embarrassing moments, and Kody and Kaitlyn’s future plans together. We were humbly welcomed by Saugatuck Brewing Company for a dinner of pizza and beer and we ended the night with pie on the beach. It was so amazing to witness the two of them not caring what other people wanted for their wedding day and just doing what they wanted to do in the moment.
